Every year I always say, "I'm going to start shopping early so I'm not scrambling." Do I do that? Heck no, my inner procrastinator won't let me. I like to be the one scrambling to wrap everything up until Christmas Eve, LOL. A lot of our presents are bought, but I'll be picking up little stocking stuffers up until the day before, I'm sure. This year my husband and I have decided to scale back on gifts for the kids. It's not that I don't want my kids to have a good Christmas, but I'm choosing this year to do fun stuff over them opening their gifts then disappearing to play with their new electronics or whatever. On Christmas day we're going to see Aquaman or Bumblebee. It's not often the four of us do stuff together, but my oldest is almost sixteen so he's much more interested in hanging with his friends or being on his phone. This will give us a chance to hang out as a family and I'm super excited about it. Then maybe we'll lounge together the rest of the day.
New Years Eve I'm on call for the day job so I'll probably write all the words!!Just be prepared because I've got lots of amazing stuff planned for 2019.
